Les Miserable

Introducing the character,’ Jean Valjean, is a poor man, but young and healthy. Although Jean Valjean looks threatening, he is a faithful person, but has no job and he is starving. Jean Valjean lives with his sister who has seven children. Kids were very hungry too, so Jean Valjean decided to steal a loaf of bread because he thought he was responsible; but because of stealing,  Jean  Valjean was imprisoned for nineteen years.

Jean Valjean meets the Bishop, who will change Jean Valjean's life. For example on page 5, chapter 1, Jean Valjean visits the Bishop's house. The Bishop, not only knew Jean Valjean was once a prisoner, but also took care of Jean Valjean. The Bishop provided him with a nice warm dinner and a comforting bed. Despite the courtesies from the Bishop, Jean Valjean decides to steal from him. Jean Valjean stole six silver plates from the Bishop. The police knew Jean Valjean was responsible for the act, so the police took him in custody. The police brought him to the Bishop's house, but the Bishop made Jean Valjean feel like he was the Bishop's friend and gave those six plates to Jean Valjean.  After the police left, the Bishop gave two candlesticks and prayed for Jean Valjean. After that day, Jean Valjean's life was completely changed.

I thought the "Les Miserable" was very dramatic. From being a very poor man and hungry,  without a job, to meeting the Bishop who has changed Jean Valjean's life forever. After Jean Valjean's life changing event, Jean Valjean took courage in his life. Jean Valjean worked very hard and helped many poor people like once Jean Valjean was. During that time, Jean Valjean meets his daughter. In the "Les Miserable," Jean Valjean's life changed several times. Jean Valjean went from being a poor man to becoming a wealthy man by working hard. Jean Valjean left the prison with one feeling. The hate was in his heart. After meeting the Bishop, he learned the father's love, and that is why I thought the "Les Miserable" was very dramatic.

The old boy (Oh dea su)

Introduction

    I saw a movie called Old Boy and the movie main character is Oh Dea Su. He is a forty year-old man. He was an ordinary salary man. he likes alcohol drinks, and jokes. He had a 4 year-old young daughter Mi Do, and wife. He lives in South Korea in Busan. when he was young, he was a bad boy who likes to  harass other students.

Life Experience

The movie's main character  Oh Dae Su was kidnapped

and put in solitary confinement for 15 years. He was monitored by supervisors and food

was only pot sticker. He couldn't escape from that place, gave up, and stayed.

The only thing to enjoy was TV in the room. When he saw news about him, which was a

suspect of killing his wife, he decidesto take revenge. He trained himself by watching TV, and begun to dig a hole on the wall with chopsticks. Therefore, when he made a big hole on the wall, some one came in and took him where Oh Dae Su was first kidnapped. They made him free.

After he became a free man, he met Mi Do in a Japanese restaurant. They felt in love, and decided to live together. He found the place where he was kidnapped. Soon, Oh Dae Su met Lee U Jin in Lee U Jin's penthouse. Oh Dae Su figured out that Lee U Jin made a plan, which made Oh Dae Su something bad. He was very angry, and decided to revenge Lee U Jin. Oh Dae Su found Lee U Jin in his old school graduation book. In school years, he saw Lee U Jin and Lee Su A shared love. Soon a rumor spread out. finally, Lee Su A got imaginary pregnancy. Lee Su A killed herself. So, Lee U Jin thought Oh Dae Su spread rumors, and planed to revenge him.

first, he started to revenge Oh Dae Su, putting him in solitary confinement. Next, he made Oh Dae Su to meet Mi Do, who is Oh Dae Su's daughter. Oh Dae Su realized the fact and became guilty. He cut his tongue off. Eventually, Lee U Jin succeeded in his revenge, but he Realized there was nothing to do anymore. He finally shot himself and died. I felt that movie gave me that human needs to take care in communication.

Conclusion

I think Oh Dae Su is going to try to erase his memory by hypnotist including that Mi Do is his daughter. Therefore, hypnotist couldn't erase his memory. So, Oh Dae Su will help Mi Do, as her father. He will take care about her where Mi Do can't recognize until he dies. Mi Do will miss Oh Dae Su, but she won't see him anymore.

The Elephant Man

    I read the Elephant Man book. It is a true story about a man named Merrick, who lived some hundred years ago. He was a very ugly and poor man. He lived in a dark shop, owned by Simon Silcock the shopkeeper. Merrick was sold as the 'Elephant  Man' for  tickets to people to make them laugh and earn money. Merrick was a very interesting man. He can read, write, thinks a lot and kind man. He remembered his mother, she send Merrick to Silcock a long time ago.

    I thought the elephant man was lucky because he met Dr Treves, for example in chapter4
 he was not a normal person, and he was the laughing stock to other people. When he met

Dr Treves, Merrick's life was changed. He had two rooms at back of the hospital. One room was a bathroom, so he could have a bath every day. soon his skin was much better. The

second room had a bed, table and chairs. Then he could read, and talked about books, but he thought he could not leave there forever, then he wanted to go to the lighthouse. Dr

Treves helped Merrick, for example in chapter 3 a Letter to the Times readers to Merrick's story, and They gave a lot of money to Merrick, so Merrick could leave in the back of the

hospital rooms forever, Merrick was happy. If Merrick didn't saw Dr Treves, Merrick would not have had a friend, and house. He was just so pitiful, but Dr Treves helped Merrick, So

his life changed much better. Then I think Merrick was lucky.

An Experience thar Chage My Life

When I was 14 years-old I moved to Busan and started middle school but every  Busan friend spoke in a different dialect.
I heard backbiting about me because I did not speak the same dialect and I thought everybody disliked me when was a  first year student. I was hang out with friends but I was second year student I had a close friends and heard that
friends not everyone backbiting and I think doubt another people is not good that happening is over I make many friend and I hadn't stress

I'd like to tell you about my friend Min Cheoul. He lives in Busan and he is studying in Busan University. His hobby is basketball, He is a nice player. he won in the semi-finals in Nike sponsor, and he had prize money. We eat meat together, even though sometimes we quarrel we are best friends, and I want to continue to be his friend for a long time.
