The old boy (Oh dea su)

Introduction

    I saw a movie called Old Boy and the movie main character is Oh Dea Su. He is a forty year-old man. He was an ordinary salary man. he likes alcohol drinks, and jokes. He had a 4 year-old young daughter Mi Do, and wife. He lives in South Korea in Busan. when he was young, he was a bad boy who likes to  harass other students.

Life Experience

The movie's main character  Oh Dae Su was kidnapped

and put in solitary confinement for 15 years. He was monitored by supervisors and food

was only pot sticker. He couldn't escape from that place, gave up, and stayed.

The only thing to enjoy was TV in the room. When he saw news about him, which was a

suspect of killing his wife, he decidesto take revenge. He trained himself by watching TV, and begun to dig a hole on the wall with chopsticks. Therefore, when he made a big hole on the wall, some one came in and took him where Oh Dae Su was first kidnapped. They made him free.

After he became a free man, he met Mi Do in a Japanese restaurant. They felt in love, and decided to live together. He found the place where he was kidnapped. Soon, Oh Dae Su met Lee U Jin in Lee U Jin's penthouse. Oh Dae Su figured out that Lee U Jin made a plan, which made Oh Dae Su something bad. He was very angry, and decided to revenge Lee U Jin. Oh Dae Su found Lee U Jin in his old school graduation book. In school years, he saw Lee U Jin and Lee Su A shared love. Soon a rumor spread out. finally, Lee Su A got imaginary pregnancy. Lee Su A killed herself. So, Lee U Jin thought Oh Dae Su spread rumors, and planed to revenge him.

first, he started to revenge Oh Dae Su, putting him in solitary confinement. Next, he made Oh Dae Su to meet Mi Do, who is Oh Dae Su's daughter. Oh Dae Su realized the fact and became guilty. He cut his tongue off. Eventually, Lee U Jin succeeded in his revenge, but he Realized there was nothing to do anymore. He finally shot himself and died. I felt that movie gave me that human needs to take care in communication.

Conclusion

I think Oh Dae Su is going to try to erase his memory by hypnotist including that Mi Do is his daughter. Therefore, hypnotist couldn't erase his memory. So, Oh Dae Su will help Mi Do, as her father. He will take care about her where Mi Do can't recognize until he dies. Mi Do will miss Oh Dae Su, but she won't see him anymore.
